How Long Do You Have to Unlock Superblack in Destiny 2?

Players have until Monday, June 3, 2024, to complete the tasks and unlock Superblack in Destiny 2. Unfortunately, the ability to earn the Superblack Shader is time-gated with the Into The Light update. Once The Final Shape expansion drops on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, the Hall of Champions will be vaulted. Because of this, players will no longer be able to access the ability to unlock the Superblack Shader from the area. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you try to complete this activity as fast as possible if you wish to have the coveted Shader.

Superblack is a very rare Shader, with its last appearance being in Destiny 1. As many players have been desiring the Shader, this is the perfect and likely only opportunity to get it for some time. Currently, players will have just under a month to unlock it, which is still plenty of time. It is recommended to always grab bounties from both Shaxx and Arcite 99-40 to increase Shaxx’s reputation fast. Additionally, playing the 50-round version of Onslaught will help earn more reputation with Shaxx faster.

That is everything to know about earning the Superblack Shader in Destiny 2. If you like this article and are interested in others like it, be sure to visit our Guide Hub.
