Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Trailer Leaks Early, Confirms 2024 Release Date

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s trailer has been leaked early ahead of its official reveal later today. It also confirms its release date, which is sooner than you may think.

We reported last week that Warhorse Studios would be revealing its next game this week. Well, lo and behold, as everyone expected, it’s Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. While many will still be waiting for the official announcement later today, it looks like one outlet let the cat out of the bag a little early.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Trailer Leaks Early

The trailer for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was leaked early by IGN. While it was just a very brief teaser, lasting only around 20 seconds, it not only confirms the existence of a sequel but what players can expect from it. In the trailer, we see an older Henry (the protagonist from the first game) lamenting on how he wants to move on to bigger and better things. The exact line from the trailer is, “I always dreamt of leaving this place, becoming more than a peasant.” Honestly, having played the first game, we can’t blame him.

However, it looks like his newfound perspective on life won’t come easy, as a second voice warns him that an adventurer’s life can “end before it gets started.” Naturally, we see Henry in a spot of bother before the trailer ends, revealing the game’s release date. Of course, if you want to see the trailer early, you can do so here. However, considering it’ll be publicly released in a few hours, we recommend you wait.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Release Date

Perhaps the most shocking reveal in the trailer is the announcement that it’s coming in 2024. An exact release date isn’t given, so we suspect it won’t be until late 2024. However, fans won’t have long to wait until they get to continue Henry’s journey. It also reveals that it will be a next-gen exclusive, launching for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Of course, while this is to be expected, the first game just got an incredibly impressive Switch port. So, who knows? Maybe we’ll see Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on the Switch 2. We doubt it, but maybe. Are you excited for a Kingdom Come: Deliverance sequel? Let us know in the comments below. Also, be sure to check out our Guide Hub for more articles like this.
